We watched tonight's "All Star Challenge" as well as the new season.  I know that the only reason most of those designers came back was to plug their current lines or to try and get the money.  I realize my fashion sense isn't suited to high fashion.  And yet, I feel that I hated almost everything all of the designers sent down the runway.

This weekend we spent around the house mostly.  Friday I had a pleasant surprise in that a friend from MD stopped by to see us on her way home from NC.  Andy went to D&D so we had the night pretty much to ourselves, save for the monkey.  But we talked for about two hours ( Read more... )

About 2 months ago while at the library play group we met a young mom who had one little girl and another on the way and by the look of it any minute.  She was a nice enough lady and a couple of moms in our group got to know her.   Her husband is a louse and doesn't give her money for the kids, and she had to stop working as she is so close to her ( Read more... )

My friend Lisa has started to take Blake two afternoons a week so that I have time to get some work done.  Since he has been gone I have been more productive then I have been in the past two months.

I do love that boy, but I didn't realize how much of a distraction he is.  I kinda miss the noise.

Yesterday while Andy and Blake stayed home not feeling quite well, I helped with the library children's party where the jolly old elf himself visited.  I was actually stationed outside the room where he was sitting, doing crafts with the kids to keep them from getting antsy while they waited in line.   After 2 hours and over 200 children, parents, ( Read more... )
