Over the past few months I have grown more and more lazy. I have lost a lot of my zest for life. This isn't good because I didn't have a ton of zest to begin with. I can't seem to find a way to break out of this mental and physical rut that I am in ( Read more... )

Maybe I am being a bit idealistic and I probably have huge receptors shielding my eyes from certain obstacles and "bitter reality," but, I find you to be really smart, intelligent and talented. You do not need to employed with some sort of talent agency or be a talent scount to realize that when you are on stage something in the air becomes vibrant and you shine through each time.

As you get older, things become much harder to be as energized and as motivated as you once were before -- but, don't let sleeping dogs lie -- (no matter how tired they really are) because you have a lot of things going for you.

Oh yah, try not to pick on that Agosta kid he's a cool guy. =)

Ray, you're fucking hilarious onstage and I think that's all that will matter in your life. You knew from the beginning that you didn't want a regular dayjob and that as long as you stayed funny then you were going to progress in stand-up. When you start writing journal entries about how you were too lazy to drive down to La Jolla then we will know the end is near.
