Hmmm....it depends. Probably 8 out of 10 times I know the ending before I know the middle. In the case of angel!verse and spiral!verse, i just know random scenes along the time line and write those, not necessarily knowing what always comes before or after. So, in short, I have no pattern, no rhyme or reason to the things I do;)
