Searching this kids stuff to see if he had any violent intent is pushing the envelope, but understandable. When finding NO EVIDENCE that he plans on doing any sort of violent act at his school... isn't that when you drop it?
I don't know, you could interpret having hostages or planting a bomb anywhere in your school as intent. I wouldn't say it's quite as clear cut as what you say.

If he had made an Unreal map of his school, would the same thing have happened? What about if someone had made their house in the Sims like the school?
