Searching this kids stuff to see if he had any violent intent is pushing the envelope, but understandable. When finding NO EVIDENCE that he plans on doing any sort of violent act at his school... isn't that when you drop it?

Free expression is free. No actual intent of violence was expressed in any of his work.

I don't know, you could interpret having hostages or planting a bomb anywhere in your school as intent. I wouldn't say it's quite as clear cut as what you say.

People weren't arrested when they went to the white house and assassinated the vice president in Blood Money.

If he had made an Unreal map of his school, would the same thing have happened? What about if someone had made their house in the Sims like the school?

If we're going to accept that video games aren't real, we have to accept that one is just as not real as another.
