Do you guys read Achewood? It's a web comic, and it's weird, and I love it. Last week brought me this, and I genuinely think it's genius ( Read more... )

I don't like doing improv because I don't like that giddy loss of control. I'm always thinking, "That could have been better if I'd done X." I have very little faith in myself to make the optimal choice the first time, every time, and if I can't do that, or I can't take the time to make it satisfactory, then I don't want to bother. Also I have issues trusting people, and since trust is a key component of improv that's not going to work.

Also: I'm an incurable flirt.

I admit to feeling the same way that Perich does about improv. I will add to it that I hate the pressure in improv comedy to crank out the over-the-top-funny, as I find my style of acting gravitates more towards finding absurdity in the everyday.

I'll admit I was really nervous when I was auditioning with Rachel for Mosaic because she is awesome and I thought she'd beat me out for a spot. I'll admit I am super psyched that we are both in the troupe now, working together.

I was nervous to see you at auditions, too. "Aw, man. She's a MUSICIAN! I'm screwed."

And I'll admit that your admission has pumped me full of more pride than it should.

I admit that right now, I should be at work since my jury duty was dismissed super early, but I am instead going to nap, then maybe gym it.

I also admit that I secretly envy funny people for their wit (yourself included). Now, that statement becomes a lie since it's no longer secret.

By law, jury duty is contracted for one day/one trial. You are not supposed to return to work.

Admitting it: Sometimes, just sometimes, yes. I am ONLY interested in people because they're sexy. I don't want backstory, I don't want issues, I don't want conversation. I just want to fucking look at you shirtless.

I also like the show Out of This World.

Just stand there against the wall, wearing nothing but boxer briefs.

No, don't talk. DUDE, don't talk.

And stand at attention.

Nice.

I have thoroughly creeped myself out.

Given the multiple connotations of "at attention"? I'm unsurprised you creeped yourself out.

I have hairy hobbit feet. When I shave my legs, I also shave my toes.

I have started to think about moving back to Boston like, tomorrow. But I would miss Jess too much, so I don't.

Also, I'm afraid to be an adult.

Also, present situation aside, I have always wondered if I am more prone to feeling loneliness than the average human being, or less, and that the pain of not knowing is maddening.
