Scheduling headaches looming on the horizon
So for this next term, I'm currently planning on taking the normal course-load of 3 courses and then trying to audit 2 others. (I couldn't narrow it down any more than that, be quiet.) I think winter has decided to come in early and with a vengeance, because we've had three storms here in the space of barely over a week. There was a bad ice storm last Thursday that took a long time to clean up, just in time for a lot of snowfall on Wednesday. That got cleaned up quickly, but we've gotten perhaps even more snow today. It's simply true that just because someone's a nice guy doesn't mean they're right for any particular girl, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they're nice. This year is completely souring me on group living
Freshman year made me never want to have a roommate again ever, and now this year... The latest fucktacular is that we needed somebody to move into an empty room starting this month. Sometimes the small liberal arts college in the middle of the woods really sucks...
I have been reminded twice in the space of a few days that it's really hard to get together with other people when your interests are rare. I could make a bio joke about frequency-dependent selection (the other kind), but I'll refrain. It's hard to find people to do NaNoWriMo, and it's hard to find people for roleplaying games.
