Last weekend I went to NYC with Tim to visit Bodycombe and Lei. Von came over from Cbus and Ulen also was visiting from Syracuse. The weather was nasty humid and hot, but I had a lot of fun. Right after I accepted that psych position that I don't really want, I got a call from a staffing agency for a cardiac nurse interview. We watched the movie Sicko today in my Public Policy class. It's that Michael Moore movie about The US Healthcare system. And oohhh my god.... I knew that the US's healthcare system was kind of shitty, but the movie infuriated me. How are we the only industrialized country without free universal healthcare??? This week marked the beginning of my Acute Care class. I have 12 hour clinicals on Thursdays and Fridays (from 7AM-7PM). It's so physically and emotionally exhausting.
