an easy way out

I've found that body modification - tattoos, piercings, play piercing, suspensions, and the like somehow fulfill my need to self-injure. There's nothing more exciting than hearing the buzz of the tattoo gun and knowing that I'm about to feel a slew of needles pierce my skin, dig in, and drill on me for hours. I daydream about it. A lot of people say chinese acupuncture is the most therapeutic and relaxing treatment out there, I mean who couldnt relax when you have about 3 dozen needles sticking in them, but as for me I'll just stick to cutting.

I find it's not equal, but I do get a sort of mini pain buzz. I have to say I don't think I've ever complained about the pain from a piercing or anything lol.

This may sound a little wack, but I find doing self-piercings really help me. I'm sure they're stupidly risky and dangerous, but I've been ok so far (*crosses fingers*) =)
Regardless, when people notice they usually think anything I've added is cool, so I suppose it's sorta 'legit'. So I'd say you're certainly not the only one =)
