Doc Constantine.

Best BPAL scent ever.

Thought my fellow BPALers should know. XD

The only sad bit? Brian Constantine probably cannot smell how awesome his character's oil is, being as he's a chain smoker. My guess is he runs the businessy things while Beth crafts all the product formulas.

In short, I think I've found my signature scent.

I think Brian does actually do some oil blending. Schwarzer Mond (which is awesome and I'm sad I only have a decant) is listed as "Brian's Creation".

Maybe the chain smoker thing is why there's a smoke note in so many things XD (I can't complain, for some reason the tobacco and smoke note is one of my favorites.)

Wow. How can he smell enough to make any blends? Generally it completely kills your sense of taste and smell.

I swear the BPAL people are magical. Like how Beth continued to make new blends while pregnant. Pregnancy usually makes one want to avoid smelly stuff like the plague XD

They ARE magical. o.o I wish I could visit the lab and SEE how they make things. And be a test guinea pig. And hug everyone.

I'm really hoping I can make it to a Con to just tell them THANK YOU. Do they even have a fan email address, I wonder?

Also, Raz is sad that you don't like Dead Day anymore. ;_; It's my favorite holiday. I can't imagine anybody ruining that for me. I'd be so distraught.

BPAL is short for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. It's a company that makes perfumes and colognes and clothing and various things (but mostly scented things) that smell like nothing you've ever experienced before. Seriously. The company has such a following that it's considered to have its own FANDOM. And it's well deserved.

I'm testing out Brom Bones today, since I love their scents that contain leather and musk notes (and Brom Bones is nothing BUT leather and musk). So far, Doc Constantine still has it beat, hands down, although Brom is very good.
