Really it comes down to allowing two hours of thought-up-on-the-fly (and in the fucking shower!) nonsense to overrule 80 hours of actual show.

That's Ron specialty. Don't take the 80 hours of things we know just give us 2 hours that don't make much sense.

Girl you know I'm right here with you. SO FRIGGING ANGRY. I can't get over it either. Just can't. The whole thing was just wrong and the Kara resolution (plus Kara/Lee) so very terrible.

Apparently there are take backs in Ron's world. I think writing this helped. I've decided that no matter what Ron did to them, I love my pilots. I am going to live in that imaginary world before the finale. I think it will take me a while before I see the table sex stops flashing every time I think of Lee and Kara. I know we never got a resolution to who Kara was or their relationship.

Ron did an interview at tvguide and he was explaining the whole Kara thing and Lee/Kara relationship. I didn't care because it sounded like shit coming from him.

Plus my icon is making me smile.

I would have let Ron get away with most of his crap if he had actually explained a few things from the beginning. It seemed like his explanation for everything was God says so. Pythia was such a big thing in season 1 and 2 and here in the end we got nothing ( ... )

Hi, darling, how are you doing? I'm so sorry you are so upset... As you know, I have been pretty disappointed too, but I'm trying to find my zen (RDM is not going to kill my love for the show and the pilots, that's for sure). I agree with you on so many points about the finale... It wasn't brilliant, that's for sure. Yes, there were moments I loved... but the whole 'God is the answer' bullshit really made me angry, seemed like the easy answer (and BSG has never been about easy answers, to begin with). And yes, the last 5 minutes were so heavy-handed that were awful to watch.

Ron tainted their relationship for meThis hurts because if there is something I know for sure is that nothing is gonna make me love less Kara and Lee... And it saddens me so much to hear you say that pilots' relationship is tainted for you ( ... )

I guess tainted is a bit harsh and now that scene doesn't flash in my mind when I think of pilots. But I wish that Ron had given us a little something. Realistically, we all knew Lee and Kara were never going to get that bright, shiny future as much as we hoped that was never a possibility ( ... )
