I'd just like the world to know that for the moment all the parts of my computer work again. This, of course, means that the cats are going to chew through something overnight, but for right now I've got everything, including my wacom tablet. Life is good.

It's 2AM and I've just gotten home from the hospital. Megan has now joined the persentage of the human race that is living without appendices.

So, it's been more than a year since I posted here. I've moved in with my girlfriend, had a life, saw my former roomates and best friends married to eachother and never felt the need to share much with the universe at large. Calculus: "The tsunami is on fire" <-- not good at all <--- Sums up everything you need to know about how things are going in rual northern Japan.

Driving north within the hour to go babysit for parents and also visit girlfriend.

After living alone at the house for less than a week I've only managed to break it a little.

Also, cannot unsee xkcd. No matter how hard I try.

Off to a land where winter means more than the temperature dipping into the 40's and people getting killed because they don't know how to drive in the rain. Back next wednesday

Sleeping from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, 8-12, and 2:30-5 AM, not so much.

My parents, being retired, have decided that they need a break from catching up on all the things they ment to do before they retired, and are going on vacation for two weeks at The Sea Ranch, and on short notice. So, yesterday I got a BED WEDGE™ which is a big fluff inclined plain pillow so I could sleep with my head elevated, and not have to take a couch to do so. As anybody who has ever shared a room/bed with me knows I roll over constantly if there's room to do so, which there isn't on the couch I was using.
