As my role at work expands, as I learn that I have creepy ghost readers/stalkers, and for a few other reasons, everyone not on my friends list is filtered out of my ramblings. Consider it a favor.

One of the Cuse kids I hung out with yesterday was Ginsberg. He was in my introductory writing class freshman year, and we used to trash the TA every time class ended, but I had never really given much thought to his name. A friend of mine wants to "gay marry" me. We wouldn't actually be in a relationship, but we'd get benefits and termination is only 27 bucks. It sounds... like an idea. I'm kind of against marriage in general so I'd like to live out this irony for kicks.

I came really close to being arrested tonight. Cops were called... Physical altercation nearly ensued... and this wasn't even a bar incident.

Needless to say, the COOLEST person tonight was a crackhead who tried to make sure I was okay.

Sometimes I just have to laugh.

After-hours -- where you go when the bars are closed and you still haven't found someone to sleep with.

Baggage -- the excuse people use to punish their current boyfriends for things that their past boyfriends have done to them.

Weirdest meeting today. My boss "volunteered" me for the Emergency Management Operations Team Meeting and the bulk of the dialogue dealt with pandemic flu preparedness (particularly on campus). We had some MD's and MPH's from the Medical Center give a presentation on the Avian flu  and you'd think from what they had to say that the world is set to ( Read more... )

I will hopefully get two tickets next Tuesday for Belle & Sebastian's July 4th concert in Battery Park. I plan on attending with Donna and this will be a great gift for her.
