Zimmerman-Martin
My biggest concern with the Zimmerman/Martin case isn't racism. You could argue that Zimmerman was motivated by racism. You could argue that he went free because of racism. Sequester award
All of my working extra hours has made me eligible for a recognition award at work. Unfortunately, due to the sequester, cash awards have been eliminated. Now they only award extra time off ( Read more... ) -
Blood Lancets
The American government is going to increase the regulation of blood lancets. I just got back from a panel meeting where the FDA, the CDC, the doctors, and industry and patient representatives agreed unanimously to do so.

Security
Since they're having a big meeting in the lobby today, the internal security doors are shut. They require a swipe of the ID badge to open.
