Starting Rehab

I had my first physical therapy session today. During that time, I learned a handful of exercises to get some of the range of motion back in my wrist and ankle. It'll be a lot of work, especially for my wrist. I can't move it more than a few degrees in any direction right now ( Read more... )

Although it may not feel like it, that's actually quite fortunate - people injured by a judgment-proof (broke) plaintiff usually end up losing money when all is said and done. I can imagine the rolling chair thing ;-)

$25k?! Thats absurd. The whole point of requiring people to carry liability insurance is to cover the costs of their mistakes. If their mistakes cost more that $25k, WTF? Sorry you had to get hit by a, excuse the term, poor person.

I don't blame poor people at all, thats a societal thing. But the insurance companies, there's plenty of blame to go around for them.

Maybe the judge should make the young woman who hit you become your maid for a year. Just like that episode of Seinfeld. ;-)
