I am Lauren.
I am 19.
I am a sophomore at Wheelock College in Boston, majoring in social work.
I transferred here at the beginning of the semester from Boston University.

what did/do you guys hate about BU?
im applying there this year (if i get rejected from my ED school :(!!!)...and any negative/positive feedback would be welcome.
did ur complaints have to do with the size? because honestly the only that scares me is how big it is...

Yeah part of my complaints had to do with size. It was absolutely gigantic and took like 20 minutes to walk to class and I didn't know like anyone. It's hard to meet people, especially since I have social anxiety. Now i'm at a tiny school that only has 650 undergrads and I like it a lot better...

Other things I didnt like: the administration had no idea what they were doing and were abusing their power, my tuition was not going towards things that would benefit my education (most was going towards the Hotel Commonwealth and the new construction), the rules were insane and made me feel like i was living in a daycare or something, the people were snobby, my classes were worthless and taught me very very little, two of my professors barely spoke any english, some of my classes had 350 people in them, and you're just a number.

But everyone has different preferences about what kind of school they want. I didn't know what I would want and quickly discovered that BU was not what I preferred. I really just recommend you visit it.

hey miss cali mac, how are you doing? I will admit 100% that I'm a little hesitant to talk to you because of how things ended with John and me and stuff, but I miss talking to you a lot so hopefully that won't be an issue, ya know? I have so much to talk to you about and I want to know how things are going with you. My new screen name is LaLuLorLor if ya wanna IM me on it :-D
