ah, Buddhist humor

According to the New York Times, sales of romance novels are far out-stripping (ha! see what I did there?) the rest of the book industry. The theory is that people enjoy escapism more in a grim economy. Probably Wisdom should start cranking out some nice Buddhist bodice-rippers.

(Padmasambhava is pretty much the main dude in Tibetan Buddhism; he's credited with bringing Buddhism to Tibet, and as such is probably pretty much the founder of tantra. Yeshe Tsogyal is his consort. Ha! Sexy joke!)
