[Christine is walking around the Plane, wishing she'd changed out of her uniform before she arrived. She's been on her feet all day and her boots are hurting her feet. Immediately, her heels drop a few inches down to the ground as the boots disappear, replaced with a pair of fluffy pink slippers.]

What the...? That's not normal.

[She frowns,

[Oliver steps up behind her a little uncertainly. unlike Christine, you wouldn't know he has god powers to look at him. his hair is in its usual disheveled state, and he's wearing a T-shirt and jeans like any other day]

You too, Christine?

[rightawaydoctor]

[She climbs up to the top and sits on the bars.] Not bad, huh?

[oliverplus]

Definitely not!

[this has most certainly improved his mood. for the moment, he's trying not to think about power and responsibility and the Plane and integration--none of it. he starts going from bar to bar, meaning to get himself under Christine]

[rightawaydoctor]

[She's glad she's taken his mind off things.] I was never any good at swinging by my arms. I used to do this. [She tucks her shirt into her jeans and scoots until she's hanging off the edge, then slowly lets go so she's dangling off the side by the back of her knees.]

[oliverplus]

Nice! [swings himself, trying to see if he can kick a foot into one of her dangling hands]

[rightawaydoctor]

[She squeals and bats at his foot.] Don't want your dirty shoe in my hand, Mister!

[oliverplus]

[laughs, just letting himself swing for a moment as he slowly loses momentum] Better?

[rightawaydoctor]

Uh huh, very much so. [She takes a deep breath and pulls herself back up to sit like before.] Did you have a favorite playground piece growing up, like slides or swings or something?

[oliverplus]

[considers that for a minute] Jumping off swings. But playing football was the best! Or climbing trees.

You?

[rightawaydoctor]

Those little metal merry-go-rounds. I liked going so fast your stomach drops. I would get dizzy too but after I learned to spot my head in ballet class that didn't happen again.

[oliverplus]

[smiles, amused] You did ballet, too, huh?

[rightawaydoctor]

Oh yeah. For many years. [She chuckles and kicks a leg out, pointing out her toes.]

[oliverplus]

[curious] Did you like it?

[rightawaydoctor]

I loved it. I was gonna go professional but... [Her expression changes slightly.] I changed my mind.

[oliverplus]

[frowns, but then his expression lights up at an idea] Hey...could you show me?

[rightawaydoctor]

What, dancing? [She smiles.] Yeah, I could do that. [She looks off in the distance and a shiny wood floor appears, followed by lights and music coming from no where. She climbs down from the monkey bars and heads over, her outfit transforming to a ballet costume halfway through.]
