I've been told that it's a foreign energy in my world... Unfortunately, it also happens to be vital for life.

Does your world have form of energy similar to that like that?

Nothing foreign. Fonons are a natural part of the world. Though for a few thousand years we did have a way of artificially stimulating the production of seventh fonons. It's actually a bit of a puzzle trying to find an alternate energy source.

What's mana compose of?

Mana is 'life'. Without it, my world would not have developed the way it did... We've used it to study various lifeforms in the world but I've yet to see research about mana itself.
