what's provost unit arh?i see the word on the windscreen of my car all the time but i never really bothered asking what it actually is

provost means mp?chey.yeah i have 3 cars.a land rover defender,fiat iveco 3tonner and a man truck.it says "contact SAF provost unit in case of accident" or something on the windscreen.
