From my room I can see directly into every window of the 14 story dorm tower adjacent to mine. Nobody uses their cutains, we have no privacy. It feels like I'm simultaneously watching 126 of the most boring reality tv shows ever.

Which is good, cause we don't have cable, either.

Today the NY Times called Seattle "a scene of virtually constant coffee drinking."

Makes me proud to call that scene home.

One of my friends says that he needs a more direct pay off-for the tuition he's paying this year, so he's sworn to eat $40,000 dollars worth of cafeteria food. Another friend plans to consume $40,000 of elctricity, and sleeps with all her lights on ( Read more... )

I just watched the Long Winter's new video for "Blue Diamonds" on the MTV website. I only say that John Roderick hangs by the end.

For those of you who knew him, Mr. Lafond apparently died the other day. There is a service tomarrow at 1, I believe.

According to a University of Maryland poll:

34%, or over a third, of Americans believe the US has found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. (Of coarse they haven't.)

22%, or almost a quarter, of Americans believe Iraq used chemical or biological questions during the war. (Of coarse they didn't)

Now I understand what's going on here...
