It seems odd to be directing my lj audience to a thread on an obscure indie band's site, but here I am. This was some of the most interesting and comforting reading I've done in some time.

I guess I've been consumed lately with the sneaking suspicion that intellect has little more than a superficial place in reality.

Does it bother anyone else that StrongBad didn't update his e-mail last monday? I mean, at first a thought he was just a little behind schedule, but ya know what? I don't think he's going to update at all this week.

I'm devastated.

I decided to stick with Boston U. I think I have a romantic image of NYU, but no practical reasons to go there. I know I'll be happy at Boston, I just don't know if I'd be happier in New York. Regardless, bean town it is.

Damnit. The NYU admission office called this morning to tell say they want to take me off the wait list and offer me admission. I gave him a no thanks and he wished me luck, but now I'm having second thoughts. NYU was where I originally wanted to go, and it still has a sort of romantic appeal to it.
