It's good that articles like this are getting written, but I'm afraid the reason we got into this mess in the first place is that our population on the whole is to apathetic to pick up the paper.

I get the distinct feeling I'm not playing the game right...

I talked to my boss yesterday about what kind of hours she could give me during the summer, and she more or less told me to start looking for another job.

Boston was "the cut". (See! I'm already using that east coast jive!) I turned in my deposit for BU, so I'm all set to live in Bean Town for the next four years.

I'm barely holding it together at Ballard. Each day has become agonizingly long and meaningless, and it's the most I can do to keep passing grades in my essential classes.

It's only fair for me to mention that I was rejected from Northwestern and NYU.

I had my heart set on New York. I'm more than a little bummed.
