I am envious of The Pixies show, Radiohead, and Massive Attack most. I will get the chance to see MA at the end of the month up in Phoenix and your descritption only increases my anticipation. Unfortunately, the venue will be much larger than the ones you describe.

There was a time when literally everything I read on the internet depressed the hell out of me - especially peoples myspace pages and the shallow communication going on there - which is why I refuse to have one myself, so I stayed clear of the net for a while...
And yes Massive Attack ARE awesome, minimal but very effective lightshow, cool unpushy frontman, great musicians, pay some attention to the bass plucking speed at times - it's scary..
About Iggy, it's amazing - the shape he's in, admittedly the veins, but considering his age it's most enviable. I'm reading this book documenting the US punk scene, that features all Iggy's escapades and it makes his shape even more amazing.

Tout ca pour dire que cette nouvelle vague, c'est pas en disant "parents sponsors gnagnagna" que tu vas les décribilisés, et que de toute façon, tu t'aligneras, pendant les 20 prochaines années, comme des milliers d'autres, pour les concerts des Naast et co au Zenith, quand ils seront aussi importants que les White Stripes.

But don't be a such sissy and attack private persons anonymously ! And the Brats do a smashing job at "décribilisés" themselves by being generally sucky at musicianship, songwriting and lyrics...so there you go. Ineptness does not equal "punk"...
