Sliding stops

Cantered on Reba for the first time in a while today. It was so much fun and she was so good. It was a smooth transition and she went straight into it without any resistance. We came back to a trot and then walked and I gave her lots of praise and cuddles. Of course, it was so much fun that I decided I had to do it again. Bad move

If it was a true sliding stop she would have "sat down" and the likelihood of you going over her head should have been slim I would have thought:

I had a glimpse of her front legs braced in front of her as I flew past her head. I think she must've unseated me as she sat back up - kind of felt like a buck but not quite. Damn pony!
