Sorry, but this seems a touch misguided:

*sigh* Oh well, no surprise really. I just hope they don't manage to delay things for much longer - we can't afford another Sizewell B (longest public inquiry in history, with the interest on the loans to build the thing stacking up all the while - and with not a hint of irony, 'too expensive' and 'take too long to build' are major arguments you hear all the time from the antis).

Yes...I was just shocked to see it on the BBC News website (I couldn't find it later, hence linkage to their homepage). I vote we explain to Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace that its nuclear or coal and watch them try to decide where to jump.
