Does anyone around these parts know of a good calorie counter online where I can keep track of exactly what I'm putting in my body?
I was doing the weight watchers points for a while but lost the booklet and the slide rule in the move (LAMETARDED). So...also if anyone has an extra lying around or knows of a way to do this online all the better.
I am trying to organize one of those "Adopt a Family" things at my job for the holidays. Does anyone (esp. New York folks but ALL responses welcome) do anything like this through their work or personally? What programs should I contact (I'm thinking of trying to go through the salvation army

Check out urbancounterfitters.com...I came across it after hearing that Urban Outfitters is now marketing the kafiyah as a "peace scarf" and selling it for twenty bucks a pop. There was also an article in the NYTimes style section about all the edgy hipsters that have been donning the kafiyah (major late pass new york times) as a style statement,

Get psyched for today the new Michael Chabon novel comes out. Gentlemen of the Road: A Tale of Adventure. A sort of Rudyard Kipling homage (complete with illustrations, apparently!)
I never thought I'd say this...they're such a wonderful photography resource...things are always in stock, they usually have the lowest prices around, etc. But the discrimination...eeew
