A couple quick election thoughts

Nothing of much substance, really. I thought McCain's concession speech was incredibly gracious, and Obama's victory speech was downright inspiring. We elected a man named Barack Hussein Obama to the White House by an overwhelming margin. I am in awe.

I just wish McCain's crowd could have been even half as gracious as he.

Yeah, I felt bad for McCain, his speech was quite good and I could tell that the booing made him uncomfortable.

Did you hear that McCain was cracking jokes after his loss about sleeping like a baby? He said he was waking up every two hours and crying. I've got to respect the man for being able to poke fun at himself.

McCain's a decent guy. He got kind of squirmy when things got dirty during the campaign: you could tell he didn't want to be saying some of the awful things he said about Biden, for example.
