"I feel home, When I'm chillin' outside with the people I know"

Jan 04, 2005 22:56

I've been on and off with being busy recently. In case someone was curious, my Christmas was great. It's amazing that when you get older you cherish family time more and more, with some exceptions of course. I 'hung out' with the Lawson's this year for Christmas Eve and had a good time drinking beer while talking to my relatives while listening to ( Read more... )

Yeah, that'd be cool. I don't care if you take pictures, they might come out distorted since I'll have the dogs of Hell attack the film in your camera... Yeah, I'm Jesus and I can control Hell. Her step-father is just like the people I left behind when I stopped going many years ago. Those judgmental bastards don't need to be doing that in a house of worship (what I like to call a 'church' although it's easier to say and type 'church').

Yeah, I went to Subway before and two things weren't right about being there. One; your smiling (I guess an angry face might show itself after having that old fart of a manager hovering over you.) The second thing was that I ordered a footlong ('cause you know that I have to eat something that'll fill me up) and the fucker gave me five meatballs, and I was thinking 'if Jess were here then I wouldn't have this bullshit happen' I felt like jumping over the counter and throwing the kids face in the toaster. Luckily Jess E. gave me the proper amount of meatballs the last time I went, but you weren't there so I wanted to spit slap the manager that was hovering over Jess E. I plan on making it out to Subway sometime soon, either with the family or with a friend or two.

I'm glad you had a good Christmas-- I've also realized this year that I enjoyed seeing my family and Matt's family more than anything that day, even more than presents. :]

As for the church thing, the only time I've ever stepped foot in a church was to see Matt's old band Evolution of Noise play their last show (haha). But I'm certainly not against church-goers at all, and I support you for your decision to go. I know that just because you go doesn't mean you're going to change... Religion shouldn't effect who you are to that much of an extent at all, it's just a belief system, and anyone can have it, regardless of how they choose to act or choose to live their lives. And as for the people who don't think you should be there for one reason or another, that's kind of contradictory to their beliefs, isn't it? Maybe they're the ones that shouldn't be there? *shrug*

I guess we both ramble on aimlessly. :]
