So, LONG ass story time, with the aforementioned pics at the end.

So we went to the hospital on the 3rd to be induced at 0930 ish, and the rollercoaster of hell began. Everything went smoothly until 4cm, when she started having strong contractions due to the constant flow of meds. But she pushed through it and got to 6cm in an hour, Yay! Gets her ( Read more... )

He's such a beautiful baby. I'm sorry to hear the trouble the labor and delivery turned out to be, but I'm glad both mommy and baby are doing well now. =o)

Wow. And I thought I had childbirth horror stories *hugs the family* but THAT takes the cake. Glad to hear all is well now.

Very early on, sometimes Zoe would only sleep on our chests.

Zoe also slept the first couple days non-stop. Even the shots didn't wake her up. We got worried the first few days when we couldn't wake her to feed, but they say that is normal.

Sarah also said the first two weeks of breastfeeding were easily the hardest, but now she doesn't mind it at all.

Yeah, she's getting right into the feeding time schedule. Alisha's done such an awesome job. She's a great mom.

Thanks for all the love gang, feeding's over, so back to sleep for us.
