Thank you for saying that about the characterization. :) And as for them being apart, I didn't want her to just pine away, waiting for him, but he's made such an impact on her that she has to remember and feel close to him somehow.

Oh yes - absolutely perfect. I love your Rose voice and I love what you've done here. :) The style took a little while to get used to, but once I did - utterly fantastic. (Yeah, I'm slow. *g*)

This bit here, has got to be my favourite line:

Sometimes it was when he wouldn't shut up that she missed his former self the most; sometimes that was when she didn't miss him at all.

That's just... *it*, you know. Just perfect and so true.
