I just finished an 8 hour standardized, nationalized examination to become 1/3 of the way closer to physicanhood. Essentially 12 patient encounters, note writing, each lasting 15 min. Fake doctors, with fake patients, so we can fake like we have a functional health care system ( Read more... )

dang its really really cold, like freeze yr eyeballs as you bike to work cold.

i'm taking portuguese class, on top of, you know, the whole med school till i drop routine. i'm hybridizing spanish and it works out ok. receptive comprehension is like 90% fluent. expressively tho i'm still a baby.

i need a knitted pretty arty thingy to make me *like* my stethoscope. like a cozy. be creative. plllleeeease??

Ya know what? Looking back over the nearly 9 years of parenting, I realize that I friggin rock. I got a BA with honors I got a Masters in Engineering from a hella intellectually challenging school.
