I wanna talk about it sometime.
In the meantime, dont let it get to you, or I'll kick your ass.

i became a puppytologist just recently.

Pretty much all you do is lay in a field naked and let puppies pounce on your body... it's amazing

i agree with you, organized religeon has become absurd. it went from different dinominations of one Faith to a high school lunch room where all the different cliques sit at their own tables. It seems like people only preach about hating gays or mormons. I didn't know accepting Jesus as your savior required you to hate. I think the fact that you are Catholic in the south and that you hold judgement is a very admirable trait and that people could learn something from you, however I do understand and support your decision to not practice Catholicism should you make...

I understand you feelings towards organized religion, however I disagree with your choice to give up on catholicism. I think that catholics with an open mind and heart (such as yourself) are just what the church needs to balance those "neo-conservatives" (aka fr. steve). I agree that there can be hypocrasy in religion, but only in those who feel they have to prove their goodness to others(which i think is a kind of judgement). Most of us just get along knowing that we struggle and knowing that God will still love and accept us for who and what we are. I am constantly making the wrong decision, knowing that i'm not doing what I'm supposed to, but I don't think that makes me any farther from or closer to God.

I am as concerned about the conservative movement as you are, but i see it more broadly than just in religion. just look at the mess of our government, for instance.

I'll be thinking of you and if you want to chat give me a call.

with cranberry pop-corn love,
liz
