I think that visiting the ocean is the closest thing I've ever had to a religious experience. It's very...everything. I appear to have the option of taking beginning Arabic and Chinese next semester. Which should it be? Or both?

On my way back from the 8-midnight desk shift last night, I passed some drunks in a cloud of cigarette smoke and a man wearing a suit jacket and reciting aloud the Hail Mary in Latin. Very strange.

And now I'm back at the desk for my 8-noon, but that's a different story.
