As addicted as I am to facebook, I have recently become to hate it. Mostly only because it has made communication with people far too easy- particularly people from the past that are in "the past" for a reason. In a nutshell: it's made me one insecure, jealous girl. I don't think I would have become so otherwise.

i am slowly getting out of my december funk.

It is almost 2009 and I have had this livejournal since 2004. It is humorous, frightening, depressing etc. about how clearly I've changed (after reading old entries). I have become too nostalgic now. I think I should have been born in the middle east. At least when it comes to food...
I love hummus, olives, feta cheese, etc. too much.
Oh food and culture, at least I learned something from that class. ha.

I am so content right now. Finallyyy.

i love coming home just to see how badly mount pleasant water is affecting my skin and hair. yuck.

i have changed so much because of college as cliche as that sounds.
but this family has not. never will.

it's crazy how different atmospheres and resources affect the whole leader/follower scenario.
