Thus ends year one of teaching. I'm sitting in my office, surrounded by student projects and research articles. Last week I finally finished reading an annotated edition of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This was my first reading of an Austen book and I was really surprised at home much I liked it. Lavender Tea Bread Recipe
Ingredients
• 3/4 cup milk
• 3 tablespoons lavender tea blooms (or 2 Tbsp dried organic lavender buds)
• 6 tablespoons butter, softened
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
