There is always plenty of time my darling, now and in the lives to come :).
That's what I love most about the bhagavad gita actually - the idea that even war doesn't matter, even death doesn't matter, because in the grand scheme of things its just a tiny piece in the big picture. Whenever I get a sense of this I always feel totally calm, because I really do believe it.
Btw, I had a peek at your new journal and I meant to say, I totally agree with your argument for not having children - I feel EXACTLY the same way. And in exactly the same way I would argue that it's not anti-pagan whatsoever. Although I'd probably go further and say I think it's almost cruel now to have children because the world is falling apart.
It's great to be back in touch with you - I will send an email when I get half a chance x
I am really going to have to read the Bhagavad Gita now!!
& it is nice to know that others feel similarily about the children thing. My aunt did not really want to have children in the 80's because she thought the world was too horrid to bring someone into... & that was just over 20 years ago. She did end up having 1 child (I am not sure what changed her mind & presume it could be a touchy subject) but I find it interesting none-the-less.
Indeed great to be back in touch, I look forward to your email. xx
