red-panda-chan.livejournal.com/1273.html Chapter Two:
red-panda-chan.livejournal.com/1754.html “Flight 264 to Los Angeles is boarding now,” an intercom came on at the airport.
I had my backpack on and I my passport and ticket in hand. My family and I were moving to the states. We were living in Seoul, South Korea but then took a vacation to Japan and now were on our way to a new home and a new life.
We were about to board when my stepmother looked around in search of something. She looked at me with a glare and then smiled brightly.
“Oh, I forgot my purse,” she tried to act surprised. “Sweetie can you go get it?” she asked me innocently. But people should know she’s the least innocent person in the world. Her and her twins, all three just as annoying and bossy.
“What if I-” my dad cut me off.
“Hurry and get it for your mom,” he said as he handed his passport and ticket to the attendant.
“Alright,” I gave up and ran back to the waiting area searching for her black Coach purse.
I looked around for about ten minutes but still I couldn’t find it. I kept searching and finally I found a black bag and looked inside to make sure it was hers. It had her wallet in it with some money and nothing else.
“Flight 264 has boarded and is getting ready for takeoff.”
Oh crap! I started to run back to the terminal my sparkly skull necklace bouncing up and down. I swear! That witch tricked me! She wants to leave me behind! I made it to the terminal.
“I’m sorry sweetie but the plane is taking off,” the attendant said stopping me.
“But I have to be on that plane!” I exclaimed.
“We’ll book you on the next flight as soon as possible but there’s no possible way to get on this one.” She told me trying to keep me calm.
I couldn’t argue with that; it would be dangerous and annoying to get on the plane now as the plane is about to take off. The attendant took me to the flight booking clerk and booked me another flight for the morning. But what was I supposed to do until then? I counted the money that witch left me: $20 and some change. How cruel of her!
I walked out of the airport in search of a place to eat. I took the bullet train into the city and walked around. It was seven thirty and I needed food… badly! I hadn’t eaten since this morning at six. I started to walk down the street and was about to walk onto the street when things started to get fuzzy. Two words for that: Not good! The last thing I remembered seeing were headlights.

Light hit my face as I fluttered my eyes open. I had to blink a few times before my vision stopped blurring. There were four boys in front of me all sleeping. I looked around and saw I was in a white walled room and a huge window was drawn open to see the beautiful sun… what happened?
One of the boys sleeping with his head rested on the bed stirred. He rubbed his eyes with his arm and looked at me and smiled cutely then laid his head back down. Suddenly he woke back up, his eyes wide.
“You’re awake!” he exclaimed. “You guys she’s awake!”
He ran out of the room as the other three boys woke up and looked at me. I started to smile shyly and wave.
“She’s awake!” the other three got up and ran out yelling.
I stared blankly waiting to see if someone would come back. A few minutes later nine boys piled into the room and I looked at them shocked at how many there were. Were they all from the same family?! Their poor mother…
“Umm… Hi?” I waved again.
“She is awake!” one of the boys started jumping up and down.
“Thank God~!” another sighed in relief.
“We thought you died or something.”
“Hey you guys!” another boy walked into the room. He looked so familiar…
“It’s you!” we said in unison.
“You two know each other?” one of the boys asked. (Note to self ask what their names are later.)
“We’ve met,” he replied… what was his name again?
“You should’ve came earlier then. Well, whatever, I’m Yaotome Hikaru. This is Yabu Kota, Arioka Daiki, Takaki Yuya, Inoo Kei, Morimoto Ryutaro, Okamoto Keito, Chinen Yuri, Nakajima Yuto and you already know that he’s Yamada Ryosuke,” he said it all in one breath. I was shocked… there were so many of them.
“So that’s your name!” I exclaimed. “It’s been bugging me for the past few days since we’ve met because I couldn’t remember when that store clerk told me!”
“You forgot my name?” he asked his eyes narrowing.
“Yeah and I bet you forgot my name,” I snapped back.
“You never told me…”
“Exactly!” I raised a finger into the air. “Wait really?”
“We met, we went, you left,” he recapped, a really short recap by the way.
“Oh… Well then,” I cleared my throat slightly embarrassed. “My name’s Han Chae Ri.”
There was silence between the eleven of us, no conversation what-so-ever. Then one of the boys fake coughed trying fill the awkward silence.
“Sooooo… where am I?” I asked with a smile.
“You’re in our house,” one of the boys, I think his name is Yuto, said.
“’Ours’ as in all of yours?” I questioned curious. Were they all really related?!
“We live together,” Ryosuke said. “We’re a band of ten members.”
“Like SuJu!” I exclaimed.
“Suwha???” the cute boy named Yuri said.
“Super Junior. The Korean band with thirteen members,” I stated the obvious. “Jeez, where do you live? Under a rock?”
“No we live here…” Ryutaro said.
“Wait!” I had an epiphany. “What time is it?!”
“About… 11:30,” Hikaru checked his watch.
“Oh crap! My flight!” I exclaimed jumping out of the bed. Bad idea, note to self: no more jumping out of beds quickly. I fell into one of the boys.
“Are you okay?” I looked up to see Ryosuke’s eyes full of concern.
“Y-yeah… I think I’m still a little disoriented,” I smiled faintly.
“Where do you live, we’ll take you home,” Yuya smiled in return.
“That’s the thing,” I started sadly. “I don’t live in Japan. Me and my family were moving to the states yesterday when my step mom told me to go fetch her purse and then I couldn’t get on the plane because they were already taking off. I was rescheduled for a flight at eight this morning but there’s no way I can get there now. So I’m stuck here with no money and no place to stay and I don’t know what to do!”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down,” Kota started. “So you don’t have a place to stay? What’s your parents phone number, we’ll call them.”
“That’s the thing though, because we moved I don’t know the number!” I cried. I didn’t want to be alone here. Where was I supposed to go?!
“Then stay here,” Daiki came up with an idea. “We need another house maid anyways, right?”
“Well yeah but… you know we have to talk to Johnny first,” Ryosuke said.
“We’ll talk to him today,” Kei said. “We’re going to have rehearsal anyways. We’ll just take her with us and introduce her to Johnny and he’ll agree, easy as that.”
“I don’t know,” I started feeling guilty. “I don’t want to burden you guys.”
“No it’s us that’ll be burdening you, trust me,” Ryosuke said seriously, which was kind of scary. Them burdening me? I was just going to help clean their house not go into battle for them.
“If you’d like,” Daiki started. “We’ll show you the house and you can see for yourself if you’d like to stay with us.”
“Sure…” I said with uncertainty.
I followed the boys out of the room and we were in a hallway. If the rest of the house is as clean as that room then this should be- Oh mother!
I looked around their living room, there were clothes everywhere and garbage, not to mention the going into the kitchen with it’s never ending pile of dishes that if you touched it, it would definitely fall.
“You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to,” Ryosuke said as my eyes grew wide with horror.
“I thought the twins were messy but holy dinner rolls what have you guys been doing in here?!” I yelled at them. “At least tidy up a little bit! I’m surprised there’s not a fire going on!”
I spoke too soon, out of nowhere the microwave dinged and caught on fire. What is wrong with these boys that they live like this?!
“There’s a fire again!” Keito yelled pointing at it.
Two girls walked out wearing maid uniforms. They had an extinguisher in their hands and put out the fire.
“You guys have got to stop with the fires!” one of them yelled. She was pretty with long blonde hair and blue eyes, completely opposite of the other with her short black hair and almond shaped brown eyes. Both were equally pretty but both were really different too.
“It was Ryutaro!” Yuto exclaimed. “He tried to see if you could cook the food in aluminum foil!”
“Are you retarded?!” she yelled at him as he whimpered and cowered away.
“Sarah relax,” the Asian girl held onto her arm.
“But they could’ve burned down the house!” Sarah threw her hands up in the air.
“Doesn’t mean you have to yell at them. Anyways, we have a guest,” she turned to look at me. “I’m Staci and this is Sarah. It’s nice to see a new face in the house. I hope you’ll be staying with us.”
I nodded then looked at Ryosuke who smiled at me. How could he smile?! They almost burned down the house?!
“Oh yeah,” Sarah said. “Johnny called; he said that instead of going to rehearsal he’ll be coming here. He wants to see if this girl is alright.”
“Her name’s Chae Ri, Sarah,” Yuri said clinging onto her arm cutely. “Isn’t she pretty?”
“Yes she is,” Sarah said. “But you know that if Johnny comes over and sees this mess Staci and me will be out of a job.”
Yuri let go of her arm and gasped. He looked at the other boys and they all hurried around picking up things. Genius. She knew how to work these boys well. Very impressive. I looked around to see almost everything was cleaned up, then the door bell rang.
