Chapter Two:
“I’ll get it,” Staci smiled going to the door.
I stood there wondering who was at the door for a few minutes then started to whistle impatiently as Staci came back with an older male.
“Johnny’s here~!” everyone gathered quickly and bowed to Johnny as I looked at him. He was pretty old…
“You must be the girl the boys almost ran over last night,” he said. “I’m Johnny, the founder of Johnny’s Entertainment.”
“It’s nice to meet you, I’m Han Chae Ri,” I bowed slightly with a smile.
“Can you clean?” he asked suddenly. “And cook, and babysit?”
“Umm… Yeah,” I replied unsure if I really wanted to say yes. “Why?”
“Well the boys need another maid because the last one was recently fired for her… misbehaviors,” his pause made me suspicious. “So we need a replacement and you’re here, you know how to cook and I’m sure you can take of these boys. So will you do it?”
“I’m fine with it,” I said. “But what about my parents?”
“I’ll contact them immediately,” Johnny smiled giving the peace sign.
“That’ll be a problem,” Yuya made me jump.
“She doesn’t know her number and her parents are in LA,” Kei came up behind me also making me jump. What’s with these people and scaring me?!
“That is not a problem,” Johnny said. “I think I know who to contact.”
“What how?” Ryosuke was suddenly standing next to me.
“Your last name is Han right?” he asked as I nodded. “Daughter of Han Siwon, am I right?”
“Yeah,” I said.
“I’m sure it’ll be pretty easy to find him.”
“Is he famous?” Ryutaro came out of the kitchen curious.
“I wouldn’t say famous is the right word,” he replied.
“He invented the first solar powered house,” I said bluntly. “And you can contact him?”
“I bet I can,” he smiled. “Stay here for tonight and we’ll have a longer discussion about it tomorrow.”
“Alright,” I smiled.
“Boys, remember there’s rehearsal at eight tomorrow morning,” Johnny said about to leave. “And tidy up this place! It smells like wet dog!”
“Ryutaro!” the other nine boys looked at Ryutaro.
“What?! I swear I took a bath last night!” he exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.
“Does this mean you don’t have rehearsal today?” Sarah asked the boys.
“I guess,” Kota replied.
“Darn it, I had a date I cancelled today for rehearsal too!” Kei said pulling out his phone and started texting.
“Umm… So,” I started smiling waiting for someone to say something.
“What should we do?” Yuri asked walking in the room with a cup of ramen.
“Hey Chae Ri what’s this?” Ryutaro walked out of the room he was in and had a CD in his hands.
“Not for you~!” I snatched it from his hands before he could find a place to listen to it.
“Is it a love mix?” Yuya asked as Hikaru took it from my hands.
“No!” I exclaimed reaching for it as Hikaru lifted it up so I couldn’t reach it.
“I think I’m going to listen to it,” he smiled wickedly.
“Please don’t!” I said jumping up for it. I didn’t want them to listen to it, it wasn’t ready yet!
“Too late!” Yuya took it and popped the CD in a stereo and pressed play as Hikaru laughed.
The familiar opening started as I sat there hoping no one would know. My face had probably turned red by now. It was so embarrassing that I didn’t know what to do. I closed my eyes tightly, and then the lyrics started.

As the last guitar chords came I opened my eyes to see shocked faces. They were all looking at the speakers as if they watched dinner rolls dance on them. I quickly went to the stereo and pulled out the CD and put it back in its case.
“Was that you?” Daiki asked curiously.
“Psh, noooooo,” I tried to hide it with a laugh.
“Wow,” Staci said. “I thought Ryutaro was a bad liar but gosh Chae Ri.”
“That was amazing!” Ryutaro exclaimed with multiple exclamation points.
“You guys,” I started to blush. “It’s not that great.”
“Are you kidding?” Yuto said. “Do you have any more of those CD’s?”
“No!” I lied again. “I mean not with me…”
“You are a bad liar,” Ryosuke said taking the CD from me and walking away.
“Where are you going with that?” I asked curiously.
“Putting it somewhere you can’t find it,” he replied walking down the hall and disappearing into a room.
I stood there for a few moments wondering how I’m going to get that back. Then I turned to see the house was a mess again. I wonder about people sometimes…
“At least there’s no fire this time,” Staci smiled.
“Knock on wood,” I muttered and started to walk into the kitchen… this place was an utter mess! Do those two girls even work?!
I guess this is a job for Super Chae Ri! I rolled up my sleeves and started to wash the dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Once that was done I started to clean the sink and kept moving until I had the kitchen pretty clean. I didn’t know what to do with the microwave so I kind of left it all burnt and crisp on the counter. Maybe raccoons will eat it…?
I then moved on to the living room, I didn’t notice but everyone had dispersed and weren’t anywhere around anymore. The living room took some time with all the garbage and stains on the floor but soon was completely clean thanks to my many years of practice in cleaning and cooking for my stepmom.
Now that I’m done with this part of the room where should I go next? I really wanted my CD back so I went in search of a Yamada Ryosuke. I started up the stairs and down the hall and luckily there were names on the doors. I kept going until I saw one with Ryosuke’s name on it and opened the door. He was sleeping on his bed soundlessly. He looked tired so I tip toed into his room and looked around for my CD.
I saw something that caught my eye on his desk and luckily found the green case with the CD still inside it. I went to grab it but then papers started to fall. Damn… I started to pick them up trying to be quiet. When I had picked up all the papers I turned to see Ryosuke still sleeping like a baby.
Suddenly he shivered and I thought about placing the covers on him but didn’t know if I should or not. I didn’t want to disturb his sleep; but I did it anyway. Which was a bad idea, but when is it not?
I pulled the covers and placed them on top of him so he was nice and snug but when I tried to leave I felt something caught on my shirt. I looked back to see Ryosuke had grabbed my shirt and wouldn’t let go. I tried to pry his fingers off but it just made everything worse for me. He suddenly grabbed my wrist and pulled. Now this isn’t supposed to be a shoujo manga or anything so when he pulled me I didn’t fall on top of him or anything. I just fell to the ground his hand still gripped around my wrist.
I didn’t know what to do so I tried to pull away but his grip just tightened. I decided not to resist anymore because I didn’t want to end up with a bruise later. I then lied my head down on the blankets. A few moments of my eyes closed won’t do anything, will it?
