He had shaggy black hair and he was tall, maybe six foot. Well at least he was taller than me. He looked at me and smiled and I blushed. He was so hot. After the groceries were paid for he helped me take them outside.
“Thanks,” I smiled at him.
“You’re welcome,” he replied. “Just don’t forget your money next time.”
“I won’t,” I said.
“You’re in year 1 right?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I answered. “And you’re in…?
“I’m in your class,” he said as I blushed in embarrassment.
“Hey! Misaki!” I looked up to see Ryosuke walking towards us. Well wasn’t he a little late? He should’ve showed up when I was didn’t have money to pay for food.
“Yo Ryosuke!” he waved and they did a handshake. I swear males and their crazy gangster handshakes.
“You found her,” he sighed looking at me.
“You know her?” Misaki asked pointing at me with a confused expression.
“She’s in our class,” Ryosuke said pointing out the obvious.
“I know that! What do you take me for?” he asked rolling his eyes and turning to me. “I’m Takahata Misaki by the way.” He held his hand out and I took it.
“I’m Han Chae Ri,” I smiled and he let go.
“So how do you know this bonehead over here?” he asked as I giggled; and I swear I never giggle. It gave me a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.
“She lives in the house behind mine,” Ryosuke interrupted our moment.
“Really?” he looked at me surprised.
“Yeah,” I laughed nervously.
“Well that’s cool,” he smiled and I couldn’t help but smile back. “Tomorrow why don’t you eat with us?”
“Umm… I was thinking of eating with Mirai,” I said apologetically.
“Invite her too,” he said.
“Alright,” I bit my bottom lip.
“It’s a date then,” he waved and went on home. Wait! Did he just call it a date?
“Hey let’s get home,” Ryosuke said holding the bags Misaki had handed him without me paying attention. “I’m starving.”
“Alright,” I smiled following behind Ryosuke.

School the Following Day:
“So he really asked you to eat lunch with him?” Mirai asked as I sat down.
“Yup,” I nodded coolly.
“And he said I could come too?” I nodded again and she smiled happily. “This’ll be wonderful!”
“What’s so wonderful about it?” I asked confused.
“The JE boys don’t eat with anyone but their friends,” she said.
“So?” I asked. “We don’t have to be friends with them.”
“But there’s a boy that I really like that only hangs out with the JE boys,” she replied giddy about our lunch ‘date’.
“Who is it?” I asked suddenly interested.
“I’ll tell you later,” Mirai whispered as Misaki walked into the room talking with some fan girls. He was smiling though it was obvious he was annoyed with their squeals.
He then looked up to see me and he waved with his beautiful smile that I got my first glimpse of yesterday. All of his fan girls turned and glared at me. Let me tell you, that is the scariest thing ever! Scarier than the DBSK concert I went to once!
“Okay students!” Ms. Lee walked in happily right after the bell rang and everyone had sat down. “Today’s going to be so much fun!” she paused for a moment to see if anyone could guess why it was going to be so much fun.
“Are we having study hall after school again?” someone whined.
“Not again!” another person whined.
“No,” Ms. Lee smile grew even wider. “We’re going on a class trip!”
“Didn’t we just go on one?” Yuto asked in the back of the room.
“Well since we just got a generous donation from a parent the principal and I have talked about going on a trip!” Ms. Lee was very excited. “Now all we have to do is figure out where we’re going!”
“How about LA?” some of the girls started to whisper about how cool it would be.
“How about the coast?” someone asked.
“What kind of class trip is that?” another kid argued.
“How about a cabin trip…?” I wondered out loud.
“A camping trip?” one of the fan girls snickered.
“I think that would be a great idea,” Misaki said.
“Camping!” Yuto and Chinen exclaimed at the same time.
I looked back and smiled at them they were cute when they were excited, except for on National Group Hug day… Then it’s a little scary. I turned and looked forward to see girls glaring intensely at me.
“Great idea Chae Ri,” Ms. Lee wrote the idea on the board. “Who wants to go on a camping trip?”
Over half the class raised their hands and I smiled, sometimes I have good ideas. But only sometimes, not all the time, sadly.
Soon it was lunch time and Misaki was standing next to my desk with Mirai standing next to him. I got up and picked up my sack lunch that I made early.
“Let’s go,” Chinen was standing behind the Mirai/Misaki wall.
“To journey the world!” Yuto pumped his fist in the air.
“Hey! ‘The world’ is my line!” Ryosuke said at the end making us laugh.
The seven walked out of the classroom and Mirai and I followed the five boys up stairs, down stairs and in circles. I was getting very dizzy and had no idea where I was. Suddenly the boys stopped causing Mirai and me to run into them and almost topple over.
“What the-!” I started but was cut off by Keito.
“We’re here,” he said simply and Ryosuke opened the door to an empty classroom.
Well I thought it was empty. Turns out there’s a few other kids in it, including the rest of Hey! Say! JUMP… wait! Aren’t they supposed to be in their own schools or something?!
“Did you bring me food?” Ryutaro asked with his big brown eyes.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in school?” I asked my hand on my hip.
“How would you know that?” Mirai whispered to me.
“Um… well you see…” I laughed nervously. That’s right, she can’t know about me living with the boys.
“We’ve met before,” Ryutaro smiled and held up a peace sign. “She lives behind Ryosuke.”
“You do?” Mirai asked stunned I hadn’t told her this amazing fact yet. I shot Ryutaro a glare then turned back to Mirai with a smile.
“Let’s eat,” I said and we sat down.
I pulled out a plain peanut butter and jelly sandwich and started munching on it and everyone looked at me funny. I stared at them too and saw everyone had boxes for their lunches. I get it; they’re racist of my brown paper bag. They should’ve just told me about it instead making it something obvious by staring intensely.
“Is that a sandwich?” Kei asked poking my cheek.
“Actually that would be my cheek,” I replied sourly and then pointed at the sandwich. “This is a sandwich.”
“That’s what I meant,” Kei said frowning taking my sandwich and eating it.
“Hey!” I exclaimed trying to reach for it back but he got up and walked away with it.
I sat there with a pout wanting my sandwich back then saw a box full of food slide in front of me.
“You can share with me,” Chinen smiled cutely and handed me chopsticks that I took gladly.
I picked up an egg roll and was about to put it in my mouth but when I looked down Yuto had chomped on them. I glared at him; fire burning in my eyes.
“You are so dead!” I yelled tackling him.
Soon it turned into a dog pile and there were several people on my. I swear these boys are just as crazy as fan girls except maybe a little more gentle. I tried to turn around to see who was on top of me and turned to see Misaki’s face centimeters from mine. I blushed and was probably bright red by now then I heard a gasp.
“Too… heavy…!” Yuto was dying.
“It’s what you get!” I yelled at him turning to see his face turning red. “Oh crap! Are you okay?!”
“I don’t think he can breathe,” Ryosuke said as everyone toppled off to let Yuto breathe.
“Are you alright?” I asked grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him. “Don’t die Yuto! I only met you a few days ago if you die now everything will be over!”
“I’m not dying!” he exclaimed as I stopped shaking him. “Jesus I’m dizzy now…”
He tried to get up and started to walk around like a drunk person. I laughed at how ridiculous he looked.
Ding Dong! Ding Dong!
The bell signaling lunch was over rang and we all stood up instantly. I looked over at Mirai who was with a boy, flirting, who wasn’t part of our class.
“Mirai hurry before we’re late,” I said cleaning up my lunch.
“I’ll see you later Ryunosuke?” she asked him.
“Yeah I’ll see after school,” he answered and then she skipped jollily to me. I wonder what that was about.
“What was that about?” I asked her on our way back to class.
“He asked to walk me home,” she replied biting her bottom lip while smiling.
“Awww! Boyfriend!” I accused teasingly.
“Shut up,” was all she said as we walked to our seats with the boys following behind us.
“Hey Chae Ri,” Chinen tapped me on the shoulder.
“Yeah?”
“Do you want to go with us to our rehearsal tonight?” he asked smiling. He’s like a cute cuddly squirrel, so adorable.
“I can’t,” I replied. “I’m making dinner tonight.”
“Oh,” he sat back in his chair and pouted a little.
“Maybe next time.”
No matter how much I hated giving false hope what else was I supposed to do? It looked like he was about to cry but I can’t go with them. I’ll be pulverized by crazy fan girls on the streets! I mean what happens if-
“Chae Ri,” I looked up to my history teacher. “You have a phone call in the office.”
“Okay,” I replied wondering what it was about.
I got up and walked out of the class and went to the office. It was quiet in the halls because everyone was in class. I went to the office and Ms. Lee was there looking at me with sympathetic eyes as she handed me the phone.
“Hello?” I said into the receiver.
“Come home now,” was the only answer I got then the line went dead.
“You should head out now,” Ms. Lee said with a fake cheery smile. “Or you’ll get into trouble.”
“Alright,” I said knowing exactly who it was on the other line.
I asked Ms. Lee to tell Ryosuke to take my stuff home because I live ‘in the house behind him’. Then I walked out and started to walk to a familiar part of town. I stopped in front of black iron gates leading to a mansion of five stories. I pushed the white door bell.
“Hello?” a gruff voice said.
“I’m Han Chae Ri,” I replied and the gates opened.
“Welcomed Young Mistress.”
I walked onto the property and walked inside the house where a familiar man was waiting for me.
“Young Mistress this way,” he said leading me to a study.
He opened the door for me and introduced me then closed the door on his way out. I waited silently for a few moments until an elderly man with a stern face turned in the chair to face me.
“Grandfather.”
