It was good tv, but really heartwrenching. Like, it's been a few weeks for me now, and I'm still not okay. This is why I've had to cut TW out of my life for a little bit. A few months at least. And why I've been writing fluffy fic in other fandoms to make myself happy.
I re-watched it as it aired on BBC America (I had watched it earlier after it first aired in the UK) and it still broke my heart the 2nd time around.
It was absolutely heart-wrenching, and although it seems to be an unpopular opinion in the TW fandom, I thought it was absolutely brilliant as well. The writing, acting, and directing was top notch (there were quite a few plot holes, but when aren't there plot holes?)
*huggles* My friend just watched for the first time, too, and was also devastated. And I'm still upset, too.

Who knows? TPTB left the door wide open for that. I say he'll run, run so far away from Earth for so long...
