:( Criss!!! I think everyone planning to transfer and taking classes at CCs are sorta feeling the same way. I know I am, I mean, one bad grade (even a B) could ruin my entire future. Come on Cris, you can get through it. :D
lol. it's exactly what I'm talking about. It's like 98% sure that I'm not going to make it into that stupid honors program for another semester...so what's the point of applying this winter for spring admission. and I'm just so unsure... I don't even know which school I want to go to right now... probably a UC... and I know I don't need letters or anything for the UCs, but I might want to go to a private still... so I'll have to suck up to some profs or a community service supervisor for that. ugh.
are you going to try to apply this winter or wait like me?
Aww...I don't know if I want to enter the honors program-- it seems really tedious and not really worth it. I don't think I'm going to apply this Winter for Spring admission though, I'm probably going to wait until Fall to apply.
I think as long as it's not UCLA, you'll be fine. Transfer students from CCs have the highest chance of getting into their university/college of choice. I remember when I told Turner I wanted to go to UCLA to study Psych, she said, well, you better not get anymore B's in your classes (and I already had a B in Biology from HS that I was retaking). Right now, I think I run a high chance of getting a B in Anthropology, and I already have one W because of stupid Stat 1. Urgh.
yeah I'm most likely going to get a C in my pre-calc class, cause my teacher is anal Japanese man who gradessss homework by correctness.. :( and like A's and B's in everything else. ><' I started off really well like a jillion percent in everything cause it's so ridiculously easy.... but then you get bored and you're like ohhh if I miss this class it won't be bad, oh the next one it's okay if I miss it too. and then BAM. teacher gives like two take home quizzes and it throws off your A to a B and you're freaking out and you can only blame yourself for getting lazy.
