She passed at 10:34 this morning. We had decided that with everything cascading downward, the kindest thing to do was to let her go. We were waiting for a dilaudid drip, to make sure she felt no discomfort what-so-ever, and then we were going to turn down the one med that was keeping her pressure up and heart going. If you don't want to be alone right now or just want a shoulder to cry on, I'm just around the corner. You might have to bend down a lot but my shoulder is free.

oh sweetie, i am so so sorry. in a way though, i'm glad she passed as she did - now no one in your family has to pull the plug. she made it easy for you. it seems trite, but she will always be with you... and you will go on. she wouldn't want you to curl up and quit now, would she?
