Lovely shots, very colorful and clear. :)

Ohhh, Jethro Tull, my very favorite. I did have some of his albums (vinyl), but I've replaced them with the dvd's (Locomotive Breath on dvd is smokin...crank it up and rattle the windows). Can't be without my Tull..ditto the Beatles. I do actually have a turntable, but I rarely use it. Do you have anything like flea markets in England? (in case you don't know, a flea market is the name used in my part of the US for a sale (usually outside) of used goods...or in some cases...you don't want to know goods, lol. I've seen people selling vinyl albums and 45's at flea markets. Maybe there's some gold in that collection. :)

Ha - I did a double take there when I saw a comment from you because I read you were away yesterday - then I just saw your latest garlic entry and realised you'd found a connection :) One thing I hate about being away is if I can't have computer access - worrying eh?

I love Jethro Tull too - when I first met Fred, I was strictly disco and reggae, then he introduced me to JT and I've loved the band ever since. But I've always loved the Beatles and I can still listen to them any time too. We have flea markets - but more commonly we have car boot sales, and that is an option, although there's some really suspect stuff here too! A few years ago we had a 'dealer' around to look at the albums but when it came to it, we didn't want to part with many of them! Too much history I guess. Hope you're enjoying yourself.

Lol, part of the criteria for a motel/hotel is whether or not it's wired. ;)

Yeah, I think some of the stuff I see at flea markets is so hot you'd burn your fingers on it.

So far so good, it's been a pleasant day. :)

Good grief!! I didn't realise how long I'd been away. Thanks. I'd better get my camera out and start journalling again :)

No, not OK really, unfortunately :( But we're through the worst of it ... my tabby cat died a few weeks ago ... we also had a car accident and wrote off my car, so had to get a new one ... must be the time of year. I haven't been inclined to even log in to LJ, as I haven't felt like writing about it. But we're feeling a lot better and things are starting to look up. But thank you for stopping by. Hope you are OK too? If I don't hear from you before, I hope you have a peaceful and good Christmas xx

I am so sorry about your beautiful tabby.... I know the feeling.. even though it was a year ago...

We had a car accident and barely was able to salvage his car... and then the computer chip went out in mine.. more expense... we ended up having 32 stressors in 2-1/2 weeks time. This time of year is not always kind.

Things are starting to look up here as well...

But I started wondering where you were and wanted to touch base. I know that we don't know each other really well... but there is something about your posts that makes me feel closer to you and want to just make sure you are ok. I would hate it if you just disappeared.

One of the silly things I have done is put my husband in charge of my lj if anything would happed to me.. and let him post.

I have even included it in our will so that if anything happened to him first or to both of us.. someone would let people know. Connections are so few and far between... that I hate to lose any of them.

Yes, I remember you lost your tabby too :( It hurt so much, particularly as he died here at home. But the pain is gradually easing, thank you ( ... )

Hi :) red_fritillary November 24 2009, 22:19:57 UTC
No I don't mind at all.
I'm glad we've got interests and good friends in common ... I do spend a lot of time in my garden.
You'll have to forgive me if I don't post very often at the moment, we seem to be busy with more mundane things like work!
Nice to meet you. I'm Sue.
