I've been collecting Muggle newspaper clippings about the weird weather - don't know about you, but it all sounds a bit dodgy to me. I know we can get some funny weather in May, but what do you think of this?

Of course it doesn't make you selfish - I'd be more worried if you weren't worried about your family. Have you heard from them much?

Enough so I don't worry. They were frantic when our post room was down...
I'm just glad they decided to do a practice exchange. But I pity the poor couple who they swapped with.

Yeah - I worry about Gin and ... well, about Percy, too. I wish we could get everyone together. Mum never says much, but I know she worries.

My goodness. Do you suppose a magnetic field could affect stupid chickens? Only they have been behaving very oddly these past few days. Trying to follow me and suchlike. As if they were lost or something.

Didn't I read somewhere that birds navigated by magnetism? Like a compass? I wonder if the owls are affected too?

Well.. there haven't actually been any at the safe portal over the weekend. It's often quiet at weekends however, but we do usually get one or two.
