I'm just imagining what a sociolinguist would say... particularly about it saying that I "don't have an accent." I have to say, though, that the rest of it's pretty dead on.

You definitely have a Boston accent, even if you think you don't. Of course, that doesn't mean you are from the Boston area, you may also be from New Hampshire or Maine.

I would also like to point out to all those people who refuse to acknowledge the truth, look at the states grouped in with "midland." Do you see Missouri there? Do you see how that is NOT listed as a southern state?
