I've been friended by random Russian journals too. I just ignore them, perhaps I will report the next one. I don't post much, but I do try to do good comment. ;-)

LOL, you do good comment (I know already between Drowningmermaid's comments and mine too)!

I didn't worry about the Russian ones at first but it was irritating. And the comment was made somewhere that they could have something embedded in their posts/links/userpage that is a virus/spyware that deploys when you click it. Or they could hang out hoping to collect email/personal infof or some nefarious purpose. I report the ones on my red_trillium journal. I"m undecided about my pinepig journal because that's where I post my CafePress and Zazzle shop info and I figure if nothing else it's a free advertising ploy for me. Still debating reporting those (and have on on red_tril to report again).

Haere Mai Larisa! No no, you are definitely not one I would report. The ones that are bots don't comment, only friend as many people as they can (usually 999 I think or something like that) but no communities. They don't have much in their profile and only a couple 'entries' that are usually stolen from other journals. They don't comment either so I knew when you commented that you were a real person :)

I used to be eaglecrash, who used to be darth_sekhmet. I seem to remember that you were fairly awesome, and I'm not sure why you are no longer on my f-list. Then again, I abandoned my journal for quite some time.

I remember you! I was on your Eaglecrash friends list for a long time and then one day realised I hadn't heard from you so I checked and think I'd been de-friended. I knew you had a lot of intense personal stuff going on and figured maybe you needed some privacy. I was sad but I respect that, I knew we'd had some good comment-chats. But you're back so I'll friend you again :) Yay, thank you for looking me up!

Fair warning: I'm in the middle of a semi-grumbly post :( Things are tough right now but I'm trying to get through it all day by day. And non-warning: I went on a vacation to the South Island with my wife and have been putting my shots up at Webshots and posting here (along with photos of us) when I upload there (check my recent posts, mostly public or my "photos" tags if you have some free time).

You made my night. Thank you for that. I'm going off to friend you now!

Hi Amy, I'm Alex! Nope, don't mind at all. I'll add ya now. You'll get used to my odd timing for replies, NZ time and we're heading into summer now so I'll be out and about more often, not commenting a ton.

Welcome! Pull up a seat and make yourself comfortable. Grab some virtual snacks and don't be afraid to jump in. It's a good group here, nice people and we tend to be quite varied in interests and backgrounds. I do a lot of different types of posts, work grumbles, kitty posts, photos, gardening.... I've got a couple internet shops and you'll see posts about them too.
