Got the surgery date
I met with Alex, the surgeon. She was nice, thorough, helpful. They are going to pull out all the plumbing. There are a lot of factors, including my age, the fact that I've been on hormones for so long, the fact that the main cyst has acted the way it has, etc etc etc ( Read more... ) -

I am home sick for the 2nd day in a row. :( I didn't want to take 1 day off, let alone 2 but my body had other options. I have been fighting headaches since Sat off and on and yesterday & today have felt sick to my stomach & a bit vertigo-ish. Seed order going in!
Quick gardening post. Spring is starting to head our way. I am working through my seed order. I want to replace all my seeds, usually I keep them a few years and try to replant them, but I had to chuck a bunch of them out as something got in to the plastic container and ate most of them. Food Picts
I made herb rolls tonight out of the dough I made last night. They turned out as tasty as I thought they would. I shaped them up as soon as I got home tonight, brushed them with some cornflour water, sprinkled some garlic salt & dried mixed herbs on them & baked them up. Bread
There is something so vibrant & life-affirming about home made bread dough. There really isn't anything quite like it. I have some dough I just popped into the fridge from my old stand-by Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day. This is the one cookbook in our house that gets regular use.
