I am thinking of getting my tongue pierced.
does anyone have and good or bad stories?
recommend it yes or no?

i had it done about 8 years ago.

it swelled like a mofo for a few days and then it was ok. they put in a long post to accomodate the swelling at first, and then when the swelling goes down you can switch to a shorter post. get the shorter post. it'll keep you from biting down on it which is not fun.

i got it done at way cool tattoo at queen and bathurst.

why did you take it out?
I am really nervous about it. I dont want to get it infected etc. But i love how it looks.
I dunno, i am a big chicken.
i felt like doing something cus my mojo is coming back. I lost a bunch of weight then regained and now i am back to a 60lb loss.
ahh i should just die by hair.....

hi.. i was just wandering around LJ and stumbled on this.. did you get it done?

Ive had mine for about 4 years now. I have to say its a good piercing for "chickens" because it doesnt really hurt that much to get it done. It does swell alot, and you have to be very diligent in your use of mouthwash after everything but water for like, 2 weeks. But thats ok. Your breath will be amazing! haha

Tounge rings are fun, and i wouldnt give mine up now!
