It has been a busy month.
Time off work. A weekend away in Washington, DC to see the new musical Mean Girls. A positive result in the statewide elections in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Our fourth Wedding anniversary - we are so European - we had a church wedding and then a civil wedding (which actually was the only legal on back in 2013).

Grooming and Gospel Extravaganza
Got the hairs cut this morning. Brian, my stylist, did his usual great work in taming the wilderness. I am almost kempt!
This evening was a UCC Gospel Extravaganza. A wonderful service of music from various churches in the area. A wonderful evening. The church was out about a hour away but was a nice time shared.

A full weekend!
Quite a full weekend. Saturday was the usual third Saturday union day - which started at six a.m. and finished around one-thirty p.m. or so before I could return home. Lots done. Lots accomplished. The triple three day weekends
Spoiled with three three day weekends in close succession and two additional sets of days off for personal and for union tasks. My efforts to pace the tasks and be both rested and not too stressed got a good test run ( Read more... ) -
Progress/almost ahead
This year the timing (and time off) seems to have helped me keep ahead of various union tasks. As Secretary-Treasurer, I am dealing with making sure things are in order for the last fiscal year while also getting the reports, tax filings and w-2 out in a timely manner ( Read more... )
