That's probably a good way to describe it. Sometimes the cattiness certainly feels like high school. And it's a good place to get some much need support, which is why I always tell friends to share their joys and sorrows so that we can celebrate/care for you. Everyone needs to feel that they're being heard above the cacophony of life.

I know. . . I love LJ. . . It offers a huge amount of support and friendship that I otherwise wouldn't have had. It has literally been my little beacon of light in the darkness on more than one occasion.

Yeah, we have most certainly had our challenges, but I am hoping this is a start of our good luck. . . If there are valleys, there have to be peaks, right?

Yeah, it does hurt. . . And knowing it was a mass defriending really doesn't make it better. When there are still 200+ left on their friends list it's sorta a slap in the face. I dunno, maybe I am not cool enough to understand.
